Turbo....(Install or Trash it)

Hello everyone, i have exhausted myself researching this,and i figured someone smarter at this subject could provide some insight. I aquired a turbo from a Saab 900 from a junkyard.I have found out its a mitsubishi TE05-12B off a 2.0L is this worth putting on my 93 240sx (ka24de) ?, or simply go with the rest of the turbos people use! I know not everyone can keep up with what fits what but if anyone has run into this question or used this size turbo any help would be great! thank you ADHD93

I am not sure about the saab turbochargers, what flange does it have? If its a t3 then use it, if not then its probably not worth the trouble. Look for a mustang SVO or Merkur turbocharger, you should be able to get one of those on the cheap and most of those have t3 flanges and would be close to the correct size. I can say though, that your powerband is gonna be alot smaller with one of these old turbochargers than with a GReddy kit or something of that sort.

I have nothing against building your own turbo kit, but dont expect to save alot of money by building it yourself. And expect to spend tons and tons more time.

its not worth it just fit something from an eclipse or talon and get new injectors, fuel pump, intercooler and your set.
