My friend and I are installing a turbo on his civic, and yes I know this isnt a civic forum but my question isnt application specific. The kit he got was pretty pathetic, good parts but the downpipe didnt fit right so we had to weld up a test pipe to replace the cat, and he only got 5 90 degree mandrel bends and 1 45 degree mandrel bend. We bought more straghts and coupling hose so that we would ahve enough to finish the job. However the BOV they sent is aluminum and has an aluminum mount. The only way I can think of to attatch an aluminum mount to steel piping is Heliarc (sp) and I dont know where we could get that done. Same problem accurs when we have to weld the oil return line threaded nipple into the cast aluminum oil pan. The kit was made by MaxRev and its silly they would make mistakes like that but anyone have clues on how we can get through this install before monday when he has to be able to drive to class?
