i've done lots of searching on the forums and called every local place i can think of, but i have no luck finding these. just to be clear, i'm looking for the studs that go into the turbo manifold to connect it to the turbo. the size is 8x1.25m.

don't get me wrong, i've found them on phase2 and at teh local dealer, but i really dont want to pay $30 for 4 studshttp://www.phase2motortrend.com/cispsttuinst.html

if anyone can find these at a price that doesn't break the bank, i'd appreciate it. thanks for your help

What's the overall length of those studs? The ones I found are only steel, no stainless. But they have either a plain finish, black finish, or black oxide finish.

i'm not sure on exact length. i'd have to measure. as long as it's close though (not too short) it'd work

thanks for replying

Last time we needed some I think we jus picked up some threaded rod and cut to length. Worked fine, just have to clean up both ends before threading in. McMaster is definitely the ish!

see i was was going to do something similar. i bought bolts and figured i'd thread them through the manifold from the back and the hex head woudl also help hold everything in place, but for most of them, you don't have the room to get the bolt threaded from the back. good idea though

i'm surprised it took someone this long to make that joke. i made sure every time i called to ask for THREADED studs. the last thing you want to do is call a hardware store and ask for studs
