Turbo Info........Upgrades

I found this info in one of my books and thought it might be good to post.

Bolt on Turbo's........HKS 2530 - 300psHKS 2535 - 350psHKS T450 - 350psHKS GT2540 - 380psHKS 2835 - 400psApex'i AX53B70 - 400ps

Full kits........HKS T04E - 400psGreddy TD06SH 25G - 430psBlitz K5-660R - 470psHKS GT3037 - 500psIHI RX6B - 600ps

These are all made for the RB25DET motor. I have the HKS 2835 turbo. It is great but the cost is crazy! I am trying to get another company here to make one just like it but at a cheaper price.

The Blitz ER34 Skyline drift car is making 470ps with just Turbo kit, Injectors, ECU change, and Intercooler change. SWEET *** CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope to have the New ECU's avalible to everyone some time late this month. This is a Z32 MAF, 550cc injectors and Fuel curve change ECU.

We need some Power fc's that are configured with US lower octance fuels (ie 93). Also which turbos are straight bolt on, meaning it has a t3 flange,internal waste gate and uses the stock turbos dump pipe?

what sort of ecu change do you mention, a modified chip? if so i'm interested.

Good upgrades for the RB26 are the 2835, 2540 and 2530. Sean Morris ran mid 10.s with his GTR using 2530's and a 150 shot....and thats it.

This is great turbo information but I wanted to know what can the RB25 Bottom end handle?

Check out the skyline boards in Austraila. There is some talk down under about what these blocks can take. I don't see why 400hp would be out of the question. I think the weakest part of the engine is the piston ring lands. The first thing I would do is a T3/T4 upgrade (Much cheaper then the Jap turbos) They arn't top qualitiy but they do the job. Night sells one for 500 on his site. Check it out.
