turbo in stock 240

just purchase a 1993 240 hatch (not se) and i want to up grade it as much as i can without doing an engine swap, i was wondering how turbos do in the stock 16v engines.

It's terrible, don't do it.

Just kidding. You should just start digging through some posts and view results, setups, etc. Take note of some of the higher mileage engines. You'll be more than impressed, I'm sure.

wow prepare for flames lol.i'd say if you're going to ask something like this give as much detail as possible such as what are your goals how many miles does your car have etc. otherwise people will reply with simply SEARCH

Your safe till over 300rwhp.Anything over that and you need a real good tune to be safe. But even a 7psi if you got a poor tune you cna blow up. Stock internals go bad around 350rwhp. So until you make more power than 350rwhp then stock engine is fine. IAP is our sponsor and I currently have oen of their kits. Nobody really knows when stock internals fail. Thats because not many people have tried thier limits.
