Well.... just got to thinking here.

When I was a CA noob, I took off the arm coming from the turbo that goes to the hotpipe. I didn't realize at the time that it has a gasket on it. So here is my question.....

I have always had cold start problems (low idle, crap running) until it was warmed up. My fastback (KA) did this too, but it had a slit in the vacuum hose to the air regulator. Got that fixed and it runs great now. So here is my question. If that gasket is trashed and air is getting out, would that have any affect on my cold start problems? Since when the motor is warmed up, the metal expands, and has a bit better seal on it, it runs great then.

Also, it makes a lot more noise than I think it should. I can hear the turbo spooling up and it sounds almost like a ppfffftttt sound when it spools. So that is my theory on this.

Where do I get this gasket? OEM cross-reference? Usually carry them in stock?

Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your time.

Joe

three little letters will fix all of your problems and it's real cheap. Ya ready?

RTV sealant

But if you're dead set on the gasket, get one from a Z32, it should be the same.
