Turbo Help...

So I'm new to Turbo's definitely need to sit down and do alot of reading to get up to par on knowledge about them. I currently have an RB25 Turbo on my RB20, stock injectors, and boost. My friends stated when I get on it they hear a "squealing" noise (I believe is the term they used) from my turbo. Basically my friend said it's probably going out on me.

Having a ceramic turbine on the RB25 Turbo I know I risk it going out and possibly ruining my motor. Any help on what to listen for so I know if my turbo is actually bad/dying would be appreciated. (I cannot hear the noise they told me about inside the car)

Also my end goals would be to have 300whp in my car, suggestions to a "direct bolt in" turbo that could meet that goal after an injector upgrade and tune would be greatly appreciated!
