turbo harness for sr20det?

hey everybody, i tried searching bout this but i couldn't find an answer. i got a greddy turbo timer and a hks turbo timer harness. i put it on my sr20det in my s14 but it didn't work correctly. all electronics in my car turn off with my timer but my motor didn't. the motor stills turn off when i removed the key. some guy at the shop told me that the harness isn't ment to work for s14 that has sr engines, only ka engines. is that true?

Exactly what I was thinking. I had to wire mine in manually besides the parking break as well (lots of fun )
