I have a s1 rb25det with greddy intake and FMIC , now I need a turbo thinking in 400-450 rwhp , what would be the best choice between garrett GT3082R and GT3582R.And what about the turbine A/R .63 OR .82??????? I don´t want to much lag.....

For me laggy means more than 3800-4000 rpm to get full boost.I did a search but nothing about the GT3082R.

you would really be happy with the 30r. With the Garrett Ballbearing turbos you are looking at good transient power response and linear power band. 30r is perfect for 400-450 on pump Gas.

I will let you know how much lag there is with the 35r soon It also depends on if you have the money to do a twin scrol setup. Then you could do a nice T4 35r set up. with the twin scroll setup i would expect you to see full boost anywhere from 3900-4300 depending on your turbine A/R housing. single scroll figure a few hundred RPM's more. Again i can't stress this enough with a ball bearing turbo your transient response will make it feel like it spools earlier, harder, and more linear. ball bearing-non ballbearing are different ball games

Ive heard the GT35R hitting around 15+psi around 3800rpm on the RB25. I think thats decent since the RB seems to hit hard around 4krpm anyways.

I've got the GT35R on my RB25 yesterday, I'll let you know how fast it spools when I get it tuned at the end of this month. Compressor .70 with a .58 A/R.

putting a twin scroll housing on my 30r on my 20 made it spool a hair bit later but once it did transient throttle response is insane and when it hits it hits like some one whacked you from behind.

Twin Scroll seems to be the way to go now. Spool is nearly the same but gives a good bump in torque everywhere in the powerband making "lag" nothing to worry about.
