will a gt2871R or gt28RS fit the stock turbo outlet/downpipe location or will I need to get a custom/purpose made downpipe?
I get conflicting information. some claim that it is pure bolt on, and all you need to go along with the bare turbo are the lines/adapters and the compressor outlet tube.
You can obviously choose the bolt pattern on the turbine intake, compressor intake, and discharge, but I need to know whether or not I should wait to install an O2 bung on my DP or just sell it.
I have a megan DP which has a flex section, but I dont think this is enough.
Oh and if you can answer this, feel free:
how far away from the turbo (down the exhaust) should I install the O2 bung.
some people claim it should be like 3 feet away from the turbo, but that sounds a little extreme.
a question, if you feel up to it:
is 400 flywheel hp and about 300 whp safe with 555 CC injectors? if not, what is the max?
another question:
what is the maximum power/flow capable with a Z32 maf.... I have heard conflicting things but I THINK it is something like 450 hp.
another question:
will a walbro 255 lph handle 400 flywheel hp?
another question:
AEM EMS or Apexi Power FC?
tuning shouldnt be a problem (I live in California, I have a huge range of tuners to choose from), and money shouldnt be that much of an issue (They are like $500 different in price, and I am planning on about $5000 in parts, so it is not a huge difference)
I plan on running tomei Poncams, valve springs, etc, but NOT switching to solid lifters (I want minimal maintenance, not interested in tearing apart my head every 8 months to reshim) if this changes anything.
