I'm looking into making a new turbo elbow for my rb20 I can get the flange made by a friend of mine. But I'm not sure what type of piping to use for the pipe. Any suggestions?

Stainless looks bad *** but you need someone who can tig weld, Or you can use mild steel which is easier and you can wirefeed that stuff. You can still weld SS with a wirefeed but you'll need gas and special wire. Depends on your budget and access to a welder.

What he said, if you go 310 or above your getting into aircraft quality stainless. $$$$$

Well I have a wirefeed welder at home. But I can all ways borrow my works portable TIG setup. I really need to know about what is a normal wall thickness for turbo elbows. It look to me they you a thicker guaged wall than regular exhuast tubing. Any recommendations on where to get piping like that.

i dont know of any place in the mid west where you are. we get our steel from stelco in hamilton, maybe try looking in the milwaukee yellow pages.you might want to get some literature before you fabricate your own elbow, or better yet , find someone with a turbo elbow and make a copy of it.
