I've been on the track a few times with the guy that runs MachV Motorsports. He drives an old but sweet AWD Eclipse. Very quick.Except for the sewer pipe exhaust, it looks stock.

Kid in my town now has a 10second 98 GSX, the only aftermarket body part on his car (looks wise) is a gray racing stripe, my guess is to catch beef. When you look inside you see his laptop hooked up to the stand-alone.....scary....

There are a few DSM's around Louisville, KY that look to be done up right. I saw one not too long ago, white, white Konig's maybe, (I was at a distance). Not ricey at all. I was, however, close enough to see the huge FMIC on the thing. Don't know what kind of exhaust he had, but it sure sounded mean.

hey this is my first post and you can obviously tell that im a big fan of dsm's, and i planned on getting a 1st gen and geting it into the 12's but im starting to like the whole rwd drifting possibility's of the 240sx and am debating over getting a dsm or a 240 from canada(they all have lsd if 91-93).

just watch out for dms's though, the awd ones can run 12's for little over a grand. but the early 90's 240sx's are so damn sexy. just maybe alittle more than a black 1st gen dsm.

granted they can.. but VERRRRY few do, and the ones that spend only a grand to get 12's, blow their transmission so then they dont run at all..

DSM is an AWESOME motor if taken care of and done right, it just seems like sooo few people do, and the rest of the DSM owners can just say what other dsm owners have and what they run...

by the way, dont get me wrong, i like dsm's, my friend here has a 9second gsx. parachutes on the back , and street legal :ylsuper, im just sick of 99/100 dsm owners screwing them up (looks and performance) and not being fast - but thinking they are. I considered trading for a '95gsx before i did my turbo, now im sooo happy i didnt. plus the eclipse became very played out in the past 1-2years. i guess it is all opinion.
