hey guys, this is kind of farfetched and will prolly not go in affect for another few years but i was just wondering how much a TT set up would cost. Which Kit puts out the most gains. How long my car will last without swappint internals. i'm looking at the APS TT one right now thanks

The VQ35 is good on stock internals up to 400rwhp. All turbo kits can hit this mark; superchargers come close with 380 or so. Cost for the system is variable on a few factors such as what engine management system do you want to use, injectors, and don't forget the gauges!

Hardware will cost around 4k+Install/test/tune 2k+Misc stuff 1k+

This is a VERY rough estimate...check around with local speed shops for a better quote. Make sure they have done a few G35/350z's.

I got several quotes before getting the Turbonetics single turbo installed.

For a single turbo system they won't have to actually drop the engine to install, this saves $. The quotes I got for the single system ranged from $1000 - $1800 for labor. Dyno time @ $80-$100/hour, If you need a custom reflash of your ECU or go with an aftermarket unit it will be at least $600 for either up to $$$$(depends on what you buy, I have seen units over $2K or as low as $800).

For the twin system the install quote went up over $2000 not to mention the additional cost of the system.

In short.I paid right at $8000 for my single system after some unexpected work. I am still not done but I can drive the car every day and it runs great.

For a twin system? It will ruin $10K pretty easy.

APS and Greddy TT kits are what I would be looking at seriously.

APS is very good, Greddy can be amazing but takes a little more work to get it all set from what I hear.

My friend had the Greddy twins in his 04 coupe... He had serious engine problems because his exhaust was too small (2.25").

He now has full 3" piping with better results (new engine as well) I would go with a frankenstien custom turbo setup anyway, just me.
