Are there any cams that would work well for a ka-t? I've been looking more into this. I've been reading that cams for an NA have too much overlap for a turbo. I'm just wondering since I just bought my nismo 248 deg cams and I might have to return them or sell them.

Corky Bell says:

"A proper turbo engine has a short-duration, low-overlap cam, generally referred to as an economy cam." So maybe The stock cams are best. Still reading.

I think the 248 Nissmo cams will work great for turbo. Because Nissan used some real sucky cams in the stock KA motor 232 degree. If that's not a week cam profile I not know what is. 248 seems normal for a "big block" 4 cylinder.

Call JWT and ask them. They sell some cams which should compliment your turbo nicely. However, all the big HP guys I have talked to have told me to keep the stock cams, since it is force fed.

Who knows, and BTW its 391rwhp. The only person I know who is doing over 400hp in a 240 is Chris May, and thats like 412hp at the wheels on his newest setup, on a stock head.

391 is close enough to say 400. He'll be over 400 w/ cams. I thought Chris dynoed at 438 at 22 lbs.

That was on his old engine, since then his head cracked and he got water into the cylinders and I believe he said he detonated at a very low rpm. Since then he has upgraded his turbo to something extremely nuts and is doing 415-ish at a lower PSI. If you wanna know, write him an email, he is always willing to talk about his car and help people out.
