We will see how that manifold works out....hopefully im one of the lucky ones. I dont rely on my 240, its just a project I have been working on with what money I can. Ill be sure to keep people posted. I recenly saw a xs power turbo....cheapest garbage I have ever seen. It looks very shotty in person, and I highly dont reccomend EVER buying one. Tomorrow I want to finish the body work and get off the front bumper to get the intercooler in. Il be sure to post pics.

Looks like you're well on your way to happiness. Do keep us posted. Also, can you keep track of the mileage you put on that manifold and keep an eye on it for cracks etc. The Gen II version is supposed to be better, but we don't have any real data.

ThanksWD

My old one? I was not ka-t prior to aquiring these parts. I was just collecting for the last few months. Im actually on the way over to the girlfriends parents house(where my car is stored) and am going to start the installation process. Its been to humid to do any bodywork, but i figure i can at least get some parts on. Ill just have to push the car in and out of the garage when doing bodywork. Ill post some pics later with the digi cam since i bought another.

haha funny....notOnly thing "ebay" is the manifold which i have reasearched and yes heard the stories. Dont get me wrong I have bought parts off of ebay stores before(usually from real shops just looking to make a few more sales) If i didnt have a car payment for my audi, and a stupid student loan payment maybe I cold afford a 600 dollar manifold. I do what I can, and this is what I can afford. Its not like I am using the xs power turbo, or that this car is my daily driver. It is a decent setup, and hey not everything on ebay is junk.

Im doing everything myself from bodywork to turboing the car. I already did my 5speed swap, and yes sure maybe I have not used the best of everthing in JDM land but I did what I could. I did it by myself.

Please let me know if this is not up to your standards...

Thanks man, here are some updates forgot the digi so i used the cell phone. They arnt to bad. I managed to do a little more bodywork on the other side. Its hard to fit all this in with working all day. I try and do my best. Primer has been one of my best friends troughout this project and shows me every imperfection so I know what i need to sand or fill next. I actually got a little further than this today. I have maybe 2 more patches to sand down and then a final stage of filler primer. After that I will then wetsand one more time and primer it black just like the other side. Here you all go. (The orange primer is just filler primer.....NOT RICER STRIPES DONW THE SIDE THANK YOU THE LIGHT GLAIR ON THE WET PRIMER IN THIS PIC MAKES THE CAR SHOW THE OLD BODY LINE ALOT, BUT TOMORROW IF I CAN I WILL TAKE BETTER ONES TO SHOW THAT IT IS NOW GONE

I almost forgot to take pics of my welded oil pan. The welds are so strong that i could not break this thing off if my life depended on it. They are well penetrated, just dont look very prety in person...but hey it does the job, and its not is a show car. Its made to be a fun weekend track car.

I just sprayed the pan for effect. It will be getting a sanding and a nice to high temp paint job.

It is a few weeks old. I havent used it yet. It looks pretty decent. It def. is not anything special, but will do. It looks decent with my turbo since its polished. Then again looks are not everyting when it comes to performance. For 130 bucks though I would say its worth it. Im sure others will agree and disagree. (many have not even tried it and just talk sh*t) We will see I guess. If it breaks

EDITI know its braced by looking at the bracing that was placed. I may add more bracing, but the welds are actually decent on this one. My friend had a 1st gen and a second gen. I could clearly see that the design had improved. I know that each one is not exact, but the manny over all i think will do the job.
