Im looking forward to turboing my KA24E and was wondering what all I will need and what will work. The engine is out of a 89 240 and i have read in some forums that the 89 KA24E had lower compression than the rest? Well im thinking i would like to build it for around 7-10 lbs of boost and was wondering if the stock internals would be strong enough. also I was wondering what all should be done with head? if anything. im going to get a larger cam. I was also wondering what would be a good turbo for a setup like this? thanks

Hey Jack-pot, welcome to NICO!

I'm glad youre interested in turboing your KA24E, I'm sure that its going to be a very fun and rewarding experience. About your question though, basically what you are asking is for someone to sit down and design your whole turbo system for you. Thats not really a good idea. In order to do this kind of thing right, you really need to understand not only what parts work, but WHY they work. Simply asking for a cookbook setup is not going to give you that knowledge- you need to spend some time on this forum, reading older threads (check out the "look here first" thread stickied at the top of the page), looking at other people's setups, and learning about how everything works. Trust me, the process for building these cars is 1. learn, 2. learn, 3. learn, 4. buy a few parts, 5. screw something up, 6. learn, and possibly by 7 or 8 you'll have something to drive. Take it slow man, we're here to help!
