So I'm kinda clueless when it comes to this stuff, but I'm wanting to do a turbo build on my 2008 ac. What all do I need to complete it or do you have any builds you'd mind sharing? TIA

Well, first of all, do you own a manual or a CVT?

^ No turbo for you.

Your CVT can barely handle the power from Stock; a turbo would kill your transmission.

^this guy is right. another member tried and couldnt put more than 5 or so psi from the turbo until his transmission was crying uncle.

Yea but this guy just makes a new post every single time he has a question instead of using the damn search function.

^ You have to be over a certain post count (I think 10) to get PM privileges.

I've found little evidence to support this, but I heard that the 3.5 has a stronger, more durable CVT than the 2.5. Less reported transmission failures, as a result of the stronger transmission.

Still, wouldn't trust any CVT to hold a turbo. Even a good Nissan CVT is still a s*** transmission in the grand scheme of things.

Another member did precisely this on the 3.5, put a turbo on, and couldn't push past 7 or so PSI, and still ended up swapping to the 6MT (pita from the comments) because the transmission either gave out or was a waste at that boost level.

I have plenty of evidence. ;)
