It's now becoming less of a dream, and more of my winter project.

My very, very old, but so very, very young KA24E is from an 89 240SX. She's got 121,000kms (or around 80,000mi, I believe, too lazy to convert it) and since I bought her (at 117,000km) there's been constant oil changes every 1000kms. The motor pulls hard to the redline, despite a sticky lifter and that horrid timing chain guide rattle.

In a couple of weeks the motor will be pulled for a full tear down and rebuild. I'm gathering parts right now and I'll hopefully have everything I need by Christmas. There's still large holes in this build, but we're looking at a 300HP starting point. This is what I've got so far, and what I've got planned.

Motor Rebuild Kit (Water Pump, Oil Pump, Timing Chain kit, Gaskets)Ross Racing Forged PistonsEagle Racing Rods

550CC DSM InjectorsGarrett T3 60 Trim .48 A/RJGS Manifold

Intercooler... I can get a HUGE *** one from a friend who has it in his Stage3 + Meth SRT4 (so over 400HP) for 200 or ebay one with piping, or get the CX racing kit which has piping meant for a T3 and some random wastegate, for like 500. If I get the one from my friend I'll have to find piping somewhere and I'm not sure who I would go to.

BOV... not sure what would be a good choice?

3 inch downpipe3 inch exhaust (that splits to dual 2.5s so it should be fine)Test pipe

EPROM by EmanceZ32 MAFSAFC?

Z32 Fuel FilterWalbro Pump

Wideband?

Still very new to this, and it's going to be a good project. I know a guy locally, over on KA-T.org he's known as eviltom or kings_blend. I'm hoping he'll be able to help me through a lot of this but I would like to hear a few opinions and thoughts on the matter.

duuuude I could have got you Wiseco Pistons, ARP studs, custom intake manifold, and a few other small things for 300 bucks last week. I can't believe i didn't go buy them

I'd rock a KA24E-T so hard.

Agh god dammit, I would have rocked that stuff so hard. Need custom intake manifold, I hate the one I have. Need ARP studs, not sure where to find them for this motor, not sure if DE studs will work.
