turbo bout 1/4in off ex man

on free way, hit a pot hole and think i hit the down pipe and bam. gave it some gas and no psi. so im on the free way bout 30 miles from home drivin 45mph on what i think is a cracked down pipe. ( soundin like a sohc honda) wow so sad. get home and call a hoime and go 2 a party. get home cold motor and the turbo is 1/4 off the ex man. wow help.

you bolts either broke or the nuts worked themselves loose. Probably gotta pull the manifold to check it out. Its kinda weird though because I hit my exhaust on everything and have never busted stuff.

If you're not boosting you've got a leak before the turbo. Obviously with it hanging a 1/4" down from the manifold, that is your leak. What I suspect is that the gasket was going bad and when you hit that bump it cracked it and it then blew out. I'll bet if you look, you're missing your turbo to mani gasket.

well this mor i checked it and bolts are broke?? the stud in the the man and the turbo but the head of the stud on are off. and no im not missin the gasket. sucks

wow takin off a turbo SUCKS. but all in all car u 2 runnin 2 morrow

put back every thing. went 2 work. car was running great. then saw oil, im like life is hatein me or something . but i think i know what it is, the oil dump from the turbo. i think i didnt put it on good. thats what it is. ill let u know
