Hey I'm planning on turbocharging my 89 240sx but I don't feel like I'm ready to design my custom setup yet. I did some research on books and found 2 books that claim to contain the information I seek

1.- corky bell - maximum boost2.- Hugh Macinnes - turbochargers

Has anyone read either of these books? if so, which would they recomend? if not, does anyone know of any others?

thanks

I have maximum boost sitting right here next to me. I highly recommend it for anyone into turbochargers. Even if you think you know everything, it's a nice book. I refer back to the formulas all the time.

Maximum Boost is pretty good general overview, although somewhat laxily written. The formulas are very handy too. If you're new to turbos and wanna fry your brain, get it. :thumbup

There are a couple more books out there at Barnes and Nobles in the Auto section about turbos and superchargers. They are awesome books, and even have pics for dumbasses like me!!

You don't even know where Barnes and Nobles is bro...quit your story telling. We like you even if you can't read.
