ok, i understand that the ka24 has its tourqe earlier thanthe sr20. is that so? i hear that the ka24's tourqe mid-range is weaker then the sr20's. is that true? and, if the above is true, can a properly tuner turbo fix that problem? with a properly tuned turbo can you tuner a ka24 to have tourqe through most of it power band?

you can make either one make power where you want it. There will be a trade off when you're assembling it.

i'm sure someone out there has dyno'ed a stock KA24(D?)E, and someone out there has dyno'ed a stock SR20DET. Compare the torque curves and you've got ur answer!
