How to the stock trannys hold up with the extra hp from a good turbo. I have heard good things.

How will it hold up with 350whp daily driven?

I've been wondering something along the same lines. With the 5-spd, it's mostly a matter of the clutch and what not...but what about the auto? How well does it hold power?

Get a trans cooler and see. I believe it should hold up well.

my 5spd transmission has close to 150mi on it and is holding power great. my best run so far at the track is 13.1 with a 2.2 60' so you know im making something decent.

the auto's also can hold the power very well. not many people that post around have put loads of power through a stock auto. one local guy around here is boosting 9psi on an auto with 140k+ mi running 13.9's i think. it has been said they have teh same internals as rb20 transmission's which WD can testify hold 400rwhp stock

Hmmm...sounds interesting. Now Nick, you should know what I'm talking about here; is there anything like the drop resistor mod on the Maxima except for a 240 auto transmission? I remember looking for one over a year ago and finding something similar but I would have no idea where to find it now and if I'm even correct in thinking this. Any thoughts?

EDIT: My bad, I found it...http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=84947

there has been lots of rumor that running around with that unplugged will kill th transmission faster.

i did it a couple times when my car was autoa nd yes you could feel the shifts a little more. my car didnt get any faster though at the drag strip like that.
