i was trying to plan my course in upgrading my 95 240sx and i am looking to be pointed in a direction for the better turbo for mine. not looking to change the engine but rebuilding will be good for it know. any help is much appreciated.

Don't just say swap an SR20, it's highly over-rated.

As for the OP, whats your goal with this thing? and also if your gonna rebuild the engine, might at well go the extra yard and build the bottom end, wouldn't make sense to do an OEM Stock rebuild if your going turbo.

Seeing you have a 95 which is obdI I'd recommend doing the sr20det swap. Dollar to dollar it is still the most reliable and easy to work on with the most aftermarket support.

I'm a ka-t guy myself and I am still telling you to do the sr. No offense but you don't seem to have a clue about what you are getting yourself into. At least with the sr, assuming it came from a good clip and was installed right, is pretty much plug and play. Do your maintenance, simple upgrades, and you will get your money's worth.

ka-t's can turn into a nightmare really fast and empty your bank account.
