Turbine Revolution Sensor Replacement help

Hi there, I have a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder 4.0L. I have a check engine code for P0717 Turbine Revolution Sensor. does anybody have any sensor replacement pics or procedures for this ? Thanks for helping

The service manuals for your Pathfinder are here:

AT is the auto transmission section. On page AT-228 is some stuff about how to pull the pan off the transmission. The last diagram on that page shows the connector to the Turbine revolution sensor, after the pan has been pulled.

That should get you started!

Don't know the part number - but the turbine sensor is a dealer only part I'm pretty sure. In addition to your local dealer, you might also try http://www.courtesyparts.com/. They have an 800 number.

yeah I was beginning to get that feeling. I bet they'll want to sell me the whole TCM valve body as an assembly. If thats the case I'll roll the dice and change fluid and filter and take out both sensors and clean first.
