Trying to decide on a housing for my 30R. I really think the .63ar 3" outlet will be plenty for my WHP goals(430-440whp) and will be much more responsive in the mid range. After having the Holset for a while(which made great powa up top) I'm looking for the hard hit of the GT2871R with the ability to run 25-26psi on 116 race gas.

Anyone with experience with the 30R....

.63 ar or .82 ar????

I know some of you are going to say TS .78!!

The .63 would be perfect for what you want. Be over 400whp @ 18-19psi and over 500whp closer to 30psi.

I say .63 too. I think your spool will suffer more than you'd like and again, I'm running the .63 on my T3/T4 and it works great. If your goals are 430-450 whp the .63 will get you there and definitely not choke out up top.

Enjuku Racing might be able to have it for you by then. There in Florida. Alot of shops dont carry the turbos in stock so you should call just to be sure. Alot of shops get there turbos from ATPturbo.com i think. Might be better off going straight through them.

I have a t3t4 stage 3 .63 exhaust and .60 50 trin compressor good for 475 its journal bearing but 500-600 brand new is pretty cost effective .imo ;im still building and waiting on my peak boost to get back and some other stuff but it should make for a fun ride when im done .

Paulie that's the exact same turbo I'm running and I love it. Trust me, it kicks a**. My dyno numbers were more than i expected, spool is good, topend is nuts, and I don't think you can beat that turbo for the money it costs.

You should really consider a Nismo FPR, the oem is dangerous with the kind of power you're making.

I agree, I'm very aware that i could use some fuel system upgrades very soon. I do have an innovate wideband to monitor AFR, but I'm running an Enthaply ECU, it is the s*** so far.

I vote for the .63 tial v-band turbine housing. Guys in the suby world are getting INCREDIBLE results with these. They seem to spool like the a/r they are listed at, but flow a step above (aka, spool like .63 flow like .82). Granted it would require a new manifold... But it'd be worth it. Plus they drop several pounds off of the turbocharger as they are ultra light and compact.

You're typing/english is terrible! I hope you are both drunk off your a** when you log on. Anyways, you should have hit me up. My custom mani for my 30r is being built as we speak for $450. Here is a pic of his work. He is building me one just like this. By the way Paulie he is just north of Evansville IN. that's pretty close to you!

My E key works and doesn't .And im usually tired when i get on here . Yeah my mani was just picked up today 3 weeks at the ceramic coatings (twitches) .I paid them for 2 day shipping its been so long .Nice manifold .Yeah cause alcoholism is so in .lol I had already bought the mani from frsport almost a month ago. From what im told the ceramic coating companies fault not peak boost . Ive been dealing with ken directly Its just been frustrating cause the owner of the deuplex. I live in has been a well Bi$$$ and has been stalking all her renters . She lives in cali and has these places watched , knows how often my car is down (imo to f/ing bad so i work on my own vehicle because im not stupid ) so she has threatened to have my car hauled off . Due to city ordinance , i tried telling her it was out of my hands she didn't car . But i may hit that guy up i may do something custom later .

I'm assuming you never made it to the track/dyno on the GT30 yet?? I'm really antsy to see how your car runs and that new manifold should really wake that s*** up. Anyway keep us all posted on how it turns out, I know I'm a fan of your setup and look forward to seeing some numbers.

By the way, I'm having my 3 in downpipe done next week, so I'll be able to tell you first hand what it feels like going from the 2.5" on a setup that flows like ours.

Im still in the middle of trying to get my mani back so i can fab my 3 inch dp to the 2.5 inch flange . Found a guy on ebay who does custom mandrel bending i paid 36.17 shipped for a 90 degree bend. Six inch leg on one side and a 2 foot leg on the other. Yes it many be to big but at least i know i can always cut some off .
