I just recently had a gt35r turbo upgrade on the car and the place where I got the tubo installed is very busy and doesnt have time to do injectors. I have 660cc injector and my question is, if I install the injectors myeslf is it safe to be driving with bigger injectors without a tune right away? The longest I will be driving it will be a week as I have an appointment for a dyno/tune on Aug 29th. Thanks

Do you have management to run the injectors? If not, it will not run. You at least need to be able to do a basic injector correction.

Don't drive it without a tune. It'll be dumping a ton of fuel potentially washing the oil of the walls of the cylinders. It'll run like crap at best as well so it's not worth it.

Thanks everyone. I have a PowerFC but I don't know how to use it. I've decided not to install it till the day its being tuned.

If you go into "Settings" from the hand controller (assuming you have one), you can change the injector correction based on your new injectors vs. your old ones. All it does it reduce the amount of time the larger injector is open by the direct proportion between the size of your old injectors divided by the size of your new injectors.

i.e. 370cc/660cc = 0.56

Your original setting should be 1.0 (370cc/370cc).

Even if you can do that, I would drive it directly to the tuner.

Thanks for the info. Would I have to lean the fuel out? Or should I just change the injector correction. Base on your calculation I would have to change it to 0.56 when the 660cc are in? Thanks again..

You could get away with just changing the injector correction, but larger injectors have more lag time and that must be corrected as well. That is totally dependent on your new injectors.
