Tuning the stock ecu??

Just like the title says. Does anyone know first hand how to tune the stock ecu on a s14 240?? That would help me alot. I am also looking for a set of 550 cc side feed injectors along with a z32 maf.

What year is your S14? If it is 96 and up you may need to swap the ecu for a 95. The 96 doesn't have a chip you can remove, nor does it have a place to put in a daughterboard. Check out this site http://eccs.hybridka.com/index...243b0 , and the links in my sig for some more info.

The ecu is actually out of a s13. It has a red label with the number 62 on it. I just dont know how the hell to tune it. I was told that there is a chip and some software to get but, the guy that told me that was a .

The site I linked you to earlier has a lot of information on it. This tutorial also has a lot of info on it. I am guessing it is a DOHC ECU, if so you will need a daughterboard kit. Here are a couple suppliers of the parts you will need; CalumSult - http://www.calumsult.com/calumsu/order%20form.htm, and Nistune - http://www.nistune.com/. As far as tuning software check out RomEditor, and TunerProRT. There are a few more, which you will probably hear about when you are researching on the earlier mentioned site.

No problem. Yeah, the first time I was doing some research I barely understood a lot of it. It is definitely a steep learning curve, but the more research you do the easier it will be in the long run. As far as the MAF and injectors, try checking out the site sponsors, and the classifieds.
