Been talking to seymore4 the last couple of days about a tune for my 11m37s and he has given me some real good advice and explained the whole procedure to me. He even sent me to a couple of his sites where he has done various work on other forums. He is a certified tuner for uprev. Thanks Llya for the referral.

Forgot to mention that seymore4 that the m is hard to tune and that I would have to contact the Infiniti dealer with my vin # to see is my ecu supported or unsupported. I'm in the process of doing that now.

You need to contact Infiniti to get your ECU Part #, then cross reference that against UpRev's 'unlocked ECU' list...you should be able to just provide Seymore with the ECU part number and he should be able to cross reference that for you.

And no problem...but my name is ilya (ill-ya), not llya :gapteeth: .

I got a tune from seymore4, definitely feel a difference. You can also do a search https://uprev.com/ROMSearch.php for the part number, I had to pay to have mine supported.

seymore knows his stuff and is a great tuner; but don't expect too much from a tune, at least for a 5.6L. I ended up bringing mine back to stock except for one minor tweak with the V-Lookup Delay, which actually made a bigger difference in performance than the typical tuning.

I could not get consistent results with AFR tuning at all. I played with the ETC quite a bit and in the end although you could get some great results with the pedal performance you also get some strange bugs with shifting and throttle control.

I don't want to sway you from getting a tune, this was just my experience with it and some of these cars just take to tunes in different ways.

Just wrapped up Tuning with Seymore on this last sunday. Put in R2C intakes, Tuned up. I love it, feels great and great communication.

I've got an m37 and thinking about getting it tuned. It doesn't sound like it's worth tuning the M56 but how about these M37's. Anybody that's done it could you chime in and let us know what kind of gains or improvements you've noticed. Also, how's the throttle response after the tune? Thanks

Called the Infiniti dealership in Duluth, GA and gave them my vin# and they could not give me my ecu #. Called again and they said I would have to bring the car in. Does this sound funny? Is there any other way I can get my vin # fellas? thanks.
