ive got a 95 240 it has been supercharged and intercooled. the supercharger is a eaton m62 and the intercooler is off ebay made by treadstone i think the measurements are 3" x 6" x 24" and have got 370cc injectors from a sr20. my question is how important is fuel control at this point i think i am only getting around 7 or 8psi. i have took it out and done a few pulls pretty close to full power and it seems to be doing fine infact it seems to be running a little rich. i know this is a dumb question but i had to ask

were you the guy on normandy 2 weeks ago on lenox

anyways, your probably running a tad rich in the wot areas, and maybe a bit lean in the low boost cruise areas.

here is what happens when you put a bigger injector in without an ecu tune or eprom/emulator, the stock ecu can manage the new injectors in the low throttle/cruise(closed loop) portion of the map, then in the wot(open loop) portion its just dumping fuel like you still have stock 270cc injectors, but infact its spewing even more cause you have 30cc injectors now. ka's run a bit rich to begin with, you added to that, its safe tho in the wot areas. You may want to look at getting an afc or romtune done, I have concern about your cruise (boost/afr),plus you'll have dyno proof and a better(safer) running engine.

Dont start being cheap now, you could always get a wideband and check it out for your self.

na dude sorry that wasnt me but thanks for the reply. i do have a afc, i got the safafc2 but when i wired it in i guess i done something wrong because when its unplugged the car runs fine and when i plug it in the car will not start i think it kills the spark or something i dont know. but anyhow so you think it is relatively safe to run like i am as long as i dont do any major throttle excursions. also i am getting the lc1 wide band to examin my afr's just dont feel safe going like i am right now.

in short no, not without seeing your afr. sorry.with this being s/c setup boost is gonna be there regarless of throttle position(more from rpm). can you bleed some boost off till you get the wideband?

you could check your plugs,do a wot pull and shut it off right away, coast down to 0 ,pull plugs. this should be done with new plugs.... get the acf wired correctly, I'm sure people have used them on dohc, ask for help, btu try the apev first tho, they have it. You could cross refference the wiring with an fsm to see whats what.
