Tuning Problems?

hey guys idk if im gunna get flamed for asking this or not but ive searched everywhere and i cant find it... i recently got my ecu socketed and was going to be running a romulator and live edit but i cant get the car to start, or even fuel pressure, i just rebuilt the motor with 555cc inj. and a top mount and a couple other things, one thing i was unsure of is the proper way to install the extension from the romulator into the socket i always thought pin one(the red line) went to the half moon side on the board or mayb im just loading the tune incorrectly? just wondering if anyone had any experiences with this, any help is greatly appreciated im pulling my hair out over here
