Alright last fall I purchased a tune from E-Mance (Jason) I was still having some problems with running rich but figured it out through my ecu and not actually having 550cc injectors in the car. I bought some 550cc from TMS and they work great (thank you btw). I sold the rom tune and safc thinking that I wanted to upgrade over the winter but that hasn't happend yet.

Ive been through all the stickies with the tuning and what not, theres no way I can afford a full standalone system at the moment. What I was looking at is the E-manage Ultimate based on the fact that I have no tuning experience and I can hook my wide band directly into it and have it auto tune for me.

Basically I have a maximum budget of 500 dollars with little tuning experience however I do have access to a dyno. If anyone could give me any input to which route I should go that would be greatly appreciated.

Syracuse huh? I went to Concord HS. Anyhow....a used emanage ultimate wouldnt be a bad pick up if you get everything you need in the deal. There are different add ons like sensors and software that make the price go up if you have to buy them separately. I would make sure theres a tuner nearby that is familiar with the emanage before buying it honestly...even though it "self tunes".

I don't have any experience with the emanage auto tune feature, but I do know that on the last autotronic unit I messed with, it didn't work for isht. Regardless, you can figure out how to tune it if it doesn't work. It just takes time playing with it and watching what kinds of changes it makes.

Why don't you buy another e-mance chip?

Well I've heard some pretty horrible stories about E-Mance so I just got rid of it thinking I was going to upgrade anyways. Is there any other companies that do quality rom tunes?

What's your motor setup look like? Is it upgraded fo mo powaa or just pretty basic? Because unless you're running a different turbo with more boost you can probably get away with a REALLY basic rom tune. Like just tweak your K, VQ table and latency for injectors and maf.

I ran an e-mance chip on a KA-T I built and it runs great.
