Hey I have a few options when it comes to tuning my rb25det:

Microtech ltx-12s w/bosch coils.

Stock Harness w/ safc

Its currently undergoing a 5 speed swap.

Or eprom tune (do these really work with boost and fuel cuts etc?)

I am currently running a S2 rb25det with 680cc denso topfeed injectors, Custom intake manifold w/q45 TB, Garrett T3 ar.70 front 4"inlet, ar.63 2.5" outlet 60-1 turbo, Top Mount turbo manifold. I plan on running between 15 and 18 lbs.

My goal is 400hp, I am located in miami fl and many people here run a super afc. This means i can go anywhere and get my car tuned, but i will be limited by the factory boost cut and rev limiter. The Microtech is great but i don't know where to get it tuned for a reasonable price. My other option is to buy an eprom chip and fine tune it with an afc. I don't know much about these chips, for the price they seem too good to be true. I would appreciate any input on this subject.

thanks steve

Hey Steve,

whats up its Brian!!

I'm def liking that ITM that Randy made!!!

I'd go with the Micro tech. Those are the same coils I was telling you about.

Check out my thread (LS2 Truck Coil), I put up a video of the car running.

You cant chip the RB25 ECU.Except there is 1 place that can burn your RB25 ecu, best1tuning, but it costs a lot.IMO not worth it.Your going to have to get a Z32 ECU or a RB20 ECU, but you'll lose VCT with the RB20 ECU.If you want a Chip I'd see if CarlH could burn a chip for you. I don't really trust those No name ebay chips.

You could get a Nistune daughter board with either ecu. (RB20 [lose vct] or Z32)

Running either one of those ECU's you'll have to re-pin the harness, no big deal from what I hear, only like 3 wires.

I was talking to one of the SFLdrifters guys and he said Fynetune near the Airport and the Lexus dealership was good.

Steve.. This is Paul. We can wire it up and get a base tune on it then if you want to really fine tune it you can go to Japtrix and have Roger tune it for you. He know's Microtech's inside out.

For the VCT solenoid, that can be handled independently (I have something for that..free for you) from the Microtech because there isn't another output available.

I was gonna tief yours when I saw it lying around but Randy put a stop to that. LOL

Will have to wait on the sheet metal manifold as I just got house and need to save some money for the renovation.
