Change the intake.

Alot of people go with JWT popcharger or stillen intake with a Z tube. Both give similar gains and I would go with which ever one you could get cheaper. You will get beter sound and slight performance gain.

Stillen looks very stock.

After that I would go with Exhaust. But if you want something a little cheaper then I would get a plenum spacer or a kinetix V+ plenum. Both result in similar gains. You don't need both.

Also another upgrade would be underdrive pulleys. But be careful. Only use trusted names. Unorthodox racing is the brand most people go with. Also If you plan on having a big audio system I wouldn't get this.

I'm pretty sure your year shares the mechanical fan that mine has. I would swap that out with an electric fan. I used the 14" Mishimoto fan. I got it from http://www.americanmuscle.com/....html It came with free universal mounts.

Check out the the G-series Mod Database (Go up one level and it's at the bottom of the 5 sub-forums in this forum).

In order of price:

Z-TubeGrounding WiresPlenum SpacerPop-Charger/Stillen IntakeUnorthodox Racing Lightweight Pulleys (stay away from the underdrive version)Coupe Mid-pipe- Not sure where this falls in. Shouldn't be too expensive.Exhaust

If you search, you'll find a thread where I detailed just about every mod and what it does. I'm too lazy to look for it.

+1 on SBD's recommendations!

For the 03-04, the plenum spacer and the coupe mid-pipe are the best bang-for-the-buck mods you can do.

If you have an AUTO, grounding wires can also really help! Check out SBD's set that other members have raved about

Also check out the G-series FAQ (link in my sig) for more mod ideas

I am going to get the jwt pop charger. http://www.ultimatez.com/shop/...d=534&.This is the charger i am looking at. let me know what you think. I was also wondering what the electric fan would do. Is it going to cool the car faster and get better mpg?

I have seen so many more mods for the coupe. I know that the engine is basically the same. Will the parts for the coupe fit the sedan

You have an electric fan...that's a mod for early 03 G's.

Yes, most parts (except exhaust systems) are interchangeable between the sedan and coupe.

Also some suspension parts and chassis stiffening parts are different.

Check out this link. I put together some useful information regarding the fan swap.

Your build date should be on the driver's side door jamb.

Just pop your hood. If the fan is connected to a rod that is linked to pulleys then it is mechanical.

I just realized you're in New Port Beach.

I'll have to put on another SoCal meet and invite you.

I'll be in Irvine tonight if you want a grounding kit (shameless self promotion- Click the link in my sig).

Sorry about not replying over the weekend.

I left MoVal on Friday night and didn't come back till this afternoon. Didn't have net access while with our friends.

Gunmetal Gray and Cobalt Blue are the available colors. I can get matte red if you're interested too (slightly higher price).

I'll probably be in OC next weekend.

I will go with the cobalt blue. I just have a question about the different packages. can you give me an insight on which one will be best for me (04 sedan). If youre in O.C next weekend, then just let me know where exactly.

$306.43Make sure you get new belts too. I would order it on the phone. Make sure you get the right product and belts for your year. DO NOT GO CHEAP ON UNDERDRIVE PULLEYS. Unorthidox racing pulleys would be the best bet. Proven as a reliable choice. Also do not get this mod if you plan on getting a major audio system.

Teflon must have not read your post all the way.

Here's the link. I think Unorthodox racing must have just changed their site because it used to be black and a lot easier to navigate.

http://www.unorthodoxracing.co...01512

The Ultra SSC are stock diameter pulleys (non-underdrive) that are lighter than the factory pulleys (by 4.5 lbs collectively). Don't get too excited about the weight savings as most of that weight is close to the center of rotation, but they say you get real gains through the RPM range and potentially better fuel economy.

I've wanted this mod, but can't afford it.

Drinking + Nico =

You're awsome Teflon, I wish I was hammered right now but then I'd have to cab home from work...

What was your impression of the Unorthodox pulleys when installed? Could you feel the improved throttle response all the way accross the powerband? I am currently running a 500W RMS amp, would that create too much strain on the charging system? Oh, and I like it L O U D as hell.

Yes. You can really feel the difference. Way more responsive. 500w isen't a huge amp. I would call a pro with that question though. Some advise from stillen or UR is what I would go with. They probably deal with those questions everyday. Hell they may have a FAQ on their page about it.

You will find the same with the engine damper, really livens things up under 3K rpm. did you install that yet? it only take 20 mins, promise

It's sitting somewhere behind my seat in a plastic trash bag tied in a knot. I tryed putting it on at my last job when we were slow and then it started to rain. I really just keep forgetting about it. I notice it when I'm cleaning up after a project and say "oh I'll get that next time." ......Everytime. I'll remember eventually.

I want to drive a stock G to see what that feels like. It's been so long.

The kinetix bother me because I was told that they used cheap materials that don't handle head variation well. As a result, you end up with small leaks that can't be fixed.

What your experience?
