This has probably been posted before but does anyone have a Tuning guide for how to tune an engine. I'm a n00b who doesn't know anything about tuning and not much on engines (learning).

My plan is the next car I get (hopefully 240SX) I'm gonna tune it up and make sure it runs the best it can stock then add modifications to it.

Thanks

For bring a car back up to running in good condition in stock form, check the thread 'car runs like new' or something like that...he talks bout seafoam so you can search for sea foam and it'll be in that list.

Best investment as far as tuning would be an actual FSM (Factory Service Manual). Well, it's just a really good investment overall......actually the best investment I'd say.

i second a fsm. and i wouldnt go tweaking nuts and bolts if you dont know what youre doing.. id suggest taking it to a reputable tuning shop. that way, its their fault if your engine blows (shop insurance)
