ok i know you can hook up a s-afc but is there any way of seeing what you are tuning, like in a dsm? because i know how to tune a dsm with a s-afc and a datalogger. is there anything like this for the 240? i need to read high med and low fuel trims and the knock sensors and all the other sensors.

BTW I have a rb20.

no. like a data logger for a dsm. you plug it in to your obd1 connector and then you can read all the sensors and systems you computer sees.

there's always the 300 degree n-probe. From my understanding, it is very much like a Nissan Consult. A few specialty shops have used them (SGP Racing and Specialty Z, and Jim Wolf Technology, Inc) and they loved it.

I know what you are talking about, the pocket logger. I have yet to see one but I found this thread on a search so if you find one let me know as well. I am a DSMer going from a 525awhp car to a stock 240 and know what I need to get the 240 respectable. The logger would be one of the first things to get, if there is one availible.

There's not...and since the Nissan ECU can't pull timing actively like the DSM ECU, then it's not usefull for tuning anyway.

OEM knock sensor on Nissans are not referenced by the ECU over ~4700rpm anyway...

Sorry...not as easy to use piggy backs and make big, safe power with these motors (RB, SR, KA, whatever...).
