The car continues on toward the end of phase one. I was just at the stereo shop today. I got an Alpine CDA-9807, Pioneer's in the doors and back, then 1000 watts and a 10 in the trunk. I'm so happy!! It's going to make being on the freeway so much more bearable, to be able to listen to something other than the exhaust, and the rumble of thousands upon thousands of cars.

I drove my car around for a few weeks without tunes. The fuse that ran the ground duty for the radio, interior lights, and the in dash clock wasn't contacting the clip (it had been bent when a alarm system was installed and removed). We grabbed the handy dandy FSM and traced it back to the box and found the culprit

When I got the car, the clock, interior light and rearview defroster didn't work. After getting the stereo installed, all of it now works. Also, I never knew that the 240 makes an annoying musical sort of sound if you open the door with your keys in the ignition. Now I do though. =)
