so ebay brand stage three clutch, on a stock KA

get an exedy stage 1

seriously you dont need a "high performance" clutch on a stock motor

Haha i dont need any coilovers right now. This is my only car and i just want to make it fun to drive and just tinker. I just read tloofs and djs huge thread on cams and my head hurts now but i think i am going to do the 248/232 cam swap. And you are prolly right about the clutch. Either way its goes im prolly just gettin a stage 1 of any brand. After all that i think dual altima fans will be the next up grade. Really I just want to make the car better. Little by little i want it to morph into something pretty fun. When i get a little older and all that and have some money to throw around then ill start thinking big. Right now im being reasonable.

Clutch Fan > electric

Many threads have gone through this.

but with that being said - I have dual electric altima fans but lets be for real.

Clutch fan is dominanat... especially a nice custom metalic one that you can redrill. Some ford trucks have nice fans for 240's.

You have convinced me haha. Why a metallic fan and re-drill??? I ordered the intake today... should be in next week or if im lucky friday. Now for the exhaust.

This sounds like the s***tiest build since project eGay.

Exedy stage 1 clutch kit is $125 SHIPPED. It doesn't f***ing get better.

$300 5 speed swap? It's going to be garbage. I spent $1300 for mine and it's better than it was when it came off the assembly line.

"Short ram intake" is a waste of f***ing money.

Have fun buying a garbage exhaust and sweet "hi-flow" cat. Just punch your old cat out, SAME f***ING THING. FREE.

Good luck with wasting money on garbage.

If you want, instead of throwing your money away, you could give it to me and I'll put it towards some REAL parts.

Why dont you give me $1300 to blow on a transmission? Your just a tool spending that much on a transmission unless your putting down some serious power. You dont like it? Then you can get the f*** off my thread. You dont have to read it. Even if you dont like it keep your comments to yourself.

in that $1300, thats all new hardware, new clutch, rebuilt shift assembly with new bushings/washers/etc, alum driveshaft, new flywheel, clutch master/slave/ss line, and new seals. im probably forgetting something, but that adds up quick.

i did a $150 5spd swap the first time, on my old car.... never again. being cheap is a good way to end up with a doodoo car

Damn Doug, you been spending too much time on Zilvia with that hate.

Seriously though, you want to invest in the right parts first so you never have to replace them due to it lasting for a short time. As for the intake, any ol ebay pipe with a filter will do the trick. Save some $$ on that.

thanks homie. someone appreciates us with our hard exteriors yet soft, understanding insides.

j/k, we are all just cynical/sarcastic AND have cool cars. but yeah, its not even PA on this forum, its Lancaster and York counties lol. we all like cool, nice parts and clean cars/swaps and just chilling/wrenching.

Hey man idk who you are implying this to, but WC, Didderson, and mrgreeneyes are all cool guys, they have helped me alot through the process of my engine swap.

On to a different note, I hope everything goes good for you man! Good luck with your build, and where are the pics of your car??

The statement about his friends was stupid. I am actually subscribed to mrgeens coupe build ha. The reason im being cheap is because i dont have a lot of money.... i cant just blow it all in one place. Im not gonna go out and just buy s*** parts tho. The stuff i get from the pull-a-part will be looked over by me and my father. This is not gonna be just some bad a** car I know haha. Like i said earlier i just want it to be more fun to drive around everyday. Something a little different but not too crazy. The only thing i ask is dont flame in my thread. If you cant respect the build then dont post. Im doing what i can with what i have and as a senior in high school thats not too much. This is all my money by the way. No mommy and daddy. So my apologies for callin out dudes friends.

qft, that 5 spd swap was no good, but i contribute some of my low costs to finding good deals. i know doug's swap is legit but i don't think new bellhousing hardware will make a difference over the old stuff unless its messed up
