tuners in fayetteville

I've just moved to fayetteville, North Carolina, in an interlude between highschool elsewhere and college @ UNCG, and have noticed a vast increase in tuners/ricers/people who put aftermarket parts on their cars (big variety, some with large obvious mods, some with freakin' eurolites only), and am wondering if anyone on these boards knows anything about the tuner community here or in Raleigh, N.C., as in good shops, street races, spots frequented, etc...

there are quite a few people with mods, but I haven't found anything to represent a center, and am wilting away with boredom (ok, mellow dramatic, but it'd be nice to at least find a decent aftermarket shop).
