tuner pro help

Hey people if Nico i need help understanding tuner pro Ive been messen with it for 4 hours know searching for help and ain't found a whole lot.
I want to know if i am able to create tunes with out a chip hooked to the computer i downloaded it today and im just messen with it to learn it but i cant get passed xdf header editor cant find were i would put any different values for timing or injectors is there a way to down load a stock ka24de tune off line and put it on tuner pro and just make modifications to it. Sry if i sound dumb but i want to try and get a hang of this. thanks for any help

ok so far i think i have to hook a consult cable to my car to get the factory tune from my ecu then i should be able to modifie the original tune does this sound right any help please and thank you
