Yeh , please e-mail me pics of the ECU, and the injectors. Is the chip glued in or will it come out?? Just trying to figure out if it can be upgraded later. Also, which MAF is it programed for? N60, or N62? The tunes would be diffrent, wouldn't they? Thanks,~Ryan

Updated with pics.

As far as the N60 vs N62 mafs, they are the same diameter and should flow the same, but I dont know the values, The computer was running really nicely, except it was rich with the N60. But I recently looked into it, that the N60 is supposedly sensitive to turbulence, and a good length of pipe before the mafs sorted out that problem for some people. However, this is an aggressive tune like I said..nice power all the way on the top of 5th gear.

What do you mean glued in? Do you mean if the board is unsocketed, or if its covered in silicone protectant?

just opened it, the chip is glued in, not socketed, it doesnt look like this ecu has never been opened until now.

Yeh, thats what I mean, is there glue covering the chip so you could never get it out to reprogram it later. Could you post a pic or e-mail one to me of the inside of the ECU?

that doesn't look like a stock SR flywheel... but I'm no SR expert :P and an N60 and z32 maf won't run the same from my experience. z32 is n62 I believe. N60 is good for 300hp-ish but with better resolution, z32 maxes out around 4... also, for an SAFC, N60 (RB20) has a different value than N62 (Z32).

your right that probably was the problem, with the n60 I was running disgustingly rich, and was running advanced timing. Once the timing was put to normal, It was even more rich.Actually I got the Impul ECU through you and your boy Omar.

those are not GT-R injectors, GT-R injectors are dark yellow. I can't see the color in the pic, are they dark purple? That is one goofy looking flywheel, it ain't a stock SR one. Toyota flywheels look like that.

http://www.injectorsonline.com/indivprod.php?c=6

according to top colour, they would suggest they're nippon denso 700cc's..(near bottom) But the body is different, with black pintle cap. In any case, it would really explain why my car was running disgustingly rich by size I was told they were 444cc's....the ecu was only to handle ~450cc's, upwards made poopie..nice to know though...I want to find out exactly what they are. I had received them from someone else, So I don't know if they're Nippon Denso's..any Idea where I can find replacement pintle caps? Ive already removed the two cracked ones.

here are some better pics of colour and body:

Just sell the injectors to me and I'll send them off to RC and have them cleaned and flow tested.

Well, I already have a set of GTiR injectors, so maybe I need to add injector bungs and run 8 injectors like some scientist I know...?
