So when I got my SR dyno'd and tune it was tuned at 16 psi. Typical SR with GT2871R, FMIC, 550cc, Z32 Maf. Would it be okay for me to run 18 psi or would I need another tune?

I would talk to your tuner. Even though it is only 2 psi, that could mean life or death for an engine depending how it was tuned. If you have to go back, save the 2 psi, put some mods on there b4 you get it retuned.

If you have a good rom tune you should be fine. I wouldn't go much past 18psi with those 550's though. You will be running out of inector with that 2871R past 18psi....

My tune is with an Apexi PFC, done on a dyno by a reputable tuner. I'm pretty confindent in the work the tuner does. I'm just ready for some more power now. Thanks for the answers.

A rom tune? I'd assume my current dyno tune with the Apexi PFC be far superior to any rom tuning? I already have a wideband, the innovate LC-1. I also already have Tomei procams, tomei valve springs, cosworth metal headgasket, arp head studs. I'd like more power now, but I don't want to change out my current turbo or rebuild my bottom end. Nothing too drastic. I was thinking an exhaust manifold and test pipe, but was told they don't make much of a difference performance wise.

Sorry, I can't read, thought you said SAFC.....

If your Power FC is tuned with MAF you should be fine. Just turn it up 2lbs at a time and watch the wideband......

Yeah you're right. I guess I'll have to debate whether I really want to get new injectors or settle with the current power for a while longer.
