I was thinkin of doing a tune-up and a few questions come to mind, product buying wise.

sparkplugs: bosch platinum 4s or NGk, please list me a few other and maybe what is better.

sparkplug wires: same as above

dist rotor: does the brand really make a difference, if so what is good to keep in mind

o2 sensor: is factory recommended?

these are all the MAIN things I can think of, please enlighten what else I need to change.

i.e: air filter, fuel filter, poss. fuel pump etc...

Keep in mind I have 125k miles.

Thank You.

NGK plugs and wires seem to be a really good combo for the KA.

Allied Signal OEM stuff for distributor cap and rotor..... unless you're running an upgraded ignition with SERIOUS hp... this stuff will be more than adequate.

Air filter and fuel filter are a good idea to replace. Fuel pump shouldn't be necessary.

Check your belts... I replace mine every couple years depending on wear.

125k miles.... timing belt (or chain?) might be worh digging into.

Good time to run a fuel system cleaner.

Clean the throttlebody.

check PCV.

flush your coolant lines... replace coolant.

Dare I say change your oil? :D

For cost savings, I put Denso plugs and Autolite Hi-Performance wires on mine, and it seems to work ok. $38.00 for everything at Advance Auto Parts.

From the mouth of my most trusted mechanic....

"Autolite..... ought-to-light..... doesn't mean it will."

yes I know... they are full of witty little sayings, but they have them for a reason.... because they are usually true.

I saw a hose that connect my intake to my valves, it's a small little hose about 1 inch in diameter and about 3 feet long, it's cracked, I want to replace it but I don't know what is it called anyone know?..
