Tune Up...

So today i went to the Infiniti dealer and the tuneup he suggested was $800 for Trans fluid, Diff fluid, filters, spark plugs and coolant. my question was all the fluids i can take care of but than the spark plugs for the 1999 Y33 are a mystery to me is it better to go oem dealer or i should get Iridium quad tip spark plugs... will it work with my car? and is it possible for me to reach them without cutting off my fingers in case they are in a tight place a diagram would be much appreciated = ] thanks to you all that have been helping me! but the problem with me is that im broke = [...

You can probably do it yourself. I'm not familiar with the Y33, but on the G50 once you start pulling those covers off the engine isn't so intimidating.

Only use the PFRG NGK plugs! Unless you want to be a guinea pig.

If you read the FSM and this Forum and IOM, you can do it yourself unless you are terminally inept.

For the transmission and PS and maybe brakes, go to a good shop, but provide the parts and follow the procedures recommended by the board.

agreed, DIY for everything but the transmission (might as well go synthetic while you are at it IMHO)
