Well I'm going to buy new plugs, wires, rotors, and what not on my 95 S14.i just want to know how deep or far do you guys do the spark plugs.I don't have a torque wrench and i don't want to gap them too far or pre-gap them. Any tips?

I think your list is good...

Im telling myself the timing chain issue is only for s13's, but I may be wrong, so someone correct me if I am. However if it is a problem with the s14's too, I would inspect the timing chain and components.

As far as spark plugs, gap them to 1.0 to 1.1mm, and torque them to 14-22 ft-lb.

yes the timing chain is a problem with s14s as well. the timing chain tensioners get loose and the chain can break! that is what happened to my 95 240sx. the pistons hit the valves which bent them and dented the pistons! so u should really check the timing chain

you`d hafta pop off the valve cover ... maybe pop is a bad description, that`d be unhealthy for it. remove the valve cover, and look at the top of the timing chain between the cams. anything there? is it broken yet?

also, what kind of plugs would you put in that would need to be gapped?
