hello, i have a 91 se coupe. i got the car in april and havent done a tune-up yet. i am not the smartest one when it comes to getting ripped by mechanic. so i wanted to do it myself. can anyone tell me what parts i need for a normal KA tune-up and what is more important than the others. thanks - mo

I got a big improvement from an o2 sensor change. you'll also need these:

air filterspark plugs (I got ngk ix's from pdm)ignition wires (aurora's from pdm)distributor cap and rotor (courtesy parts)bosch o2 sensor (pdm)300zx fuel filter (courtesy parts)

although you may want to shop around. On top of that, do regular oil changes with new oil filters in addition to changing all your fluids once a year.

check all of your belts too, and whats the mileage of the car? certain things need to be done at certain miles.

dude, is your signature big enough? it takes longer to load your sig than it does the rest of the post.

why does the whole world feel it necessary to comment on my signature? does it affect you? NO, the answer is NO. just shut up and post something relevant to the thread, otherwise dont post.

actually not to jump in and take sides, he did say that it took forever to load, so actually it does affect him. On the other hand black is the ****. Does your afr gauge jump around and do you belive they are just a lightshow....quiksilvia

probably change your transmission fluid(and filter if automatic) and differential fluid. You could bleed out all your brakes and repolace with good new nonblack fluid.
