Tune up needed?

I am finally getting an exhaust for my 91 na and I know the recommended size is 2.25" but I'm getting 2.5". So I was wondering if I go bigger do I need to get a tune up? Or will it be all good without having to worry about losing power

Don't worry about the tune. Just don't expect your low end to be responsive. Tuning is not necessary for an exhaust mod on an N/A, lol.

The reason the recommended size is 2.25" is because that is what the N/A responds to the best. Any more, and the gasses may slow down and become an obstruction to flow.
