Tune Up 2007 M35?????

I just made an appt with the dealer to have an oil change for this coming Tuesday. The car has 16,000 miles. I was told by the service advisor I spoke with, that the car is due for a tune-up! Is he pulling my leg, or does the car really need to be tuned up at 15,000 miles? This car is costing me more than my son

I will definately have to re-think my choice of cars when the lease expires. As it is, I get a little over 200 miles per tankful of gas, at $50 bucks a pop!

He is extremely wrong. There is absolutely no reason for a tune-up at 15,000 miles.

Ouch ... It will improve a bit more, but that seems awfully low for your car. Is it all stop and go traffic?

I am running about 325 miles per 20 gallon tank now on my M45 ... the trip to work (new offices) is no longer mostly highway.

Yes Mazz I did get a maual describing the maintenace and the intervals in which to have things done. I am very much looking forward to Tueday when I bring the service manual into the dealer and ask them to show mw the part that states I need my car tuned up
