tune time

Does every 6 months sound about right for a tune up, i.e. spark plugs and wires? Yea im new, and say what you want about my post, at least I'm not bitching about spelling. thanks peace.

I think spark-plugs and wires can go much longer then 6 months unless you put about 50k miles on the motor in 6 months. Other then that just basic oil change to checking the distributor cap and rotor, checking would be fine, replacement every 6 months of most items is kinda over doing it.

platinum spark plugs are guaranteed for 100k miles. i bought some bosch ones, :smoker(what was i smokin), i got them like a month ago(3k miles) and they're already charred. advance auto here doesn't sell ngk i guess.
