One of the main advantages I saw in the Cobb Accessport was the ability to keep a copy of the stock map and reapply it at a later time.

I can't imagine that it would ever come close to netting you as large a gain as from a standalone/parallel system, but it should be plenty for the street.

No one but you knows about them? How do they stay in business? You can't even afford new tires. This post is dated one month prior to your join date.

You should have posted something to the tune of "Why hasn't anyone mentioned UpRev?" instead of thinking that you alone were privy to another system.

I'd have said that they seem a little overpriced, have limited map updates and after activation its limited to the car that it was originally used on (its based on the VIN), so unless you sell it with your car you're stuck with it. The Cobb can be unistalled from the vehicle and resold if you go with another tuning method later on down the road.

It does seem to have some more flexible tuning capabilites over the Accessport, for the time being...once Cobb gets the AccessTuner Race software out for the VQ the Cobb AP will be just as flexible as Osiris. Cobb is currently offering the software for supported models (mostly Subies, but the Evo and RX8 are supported as well) as a free download.

you bought winter tires?

To the op.

There is another way to go. One of the guy (subby) went with another tuner. It is like Cobb.

Changes top speed, change redline(fuel cut),reads codes, etc,etc

They made a map for him in 2 days after he provided the ECU #.

Check the thread out if you interested.

Hope it helps.

Peace to all of the brothers

Thanks for the post Zozo!

I've always associated Bully with truck stuff but with Nissan stuffing the VQ in so many vehicles it makes sense that this would work with the Z.

Priced considerably cheaper than the Acessport too. I'll have to keep tabs on that link you posted to see what the long term review looks like.

No problem bro. I hope you guys can use it too. Subby is a great guy. He try to squize as much as he can from his car.( like many of us ). LOL He also not affraid to come back and tell what he thinks. I make sure I ask him few weeks from now to see how satisfied he is.

I think it well priced and seems to be they have a lot better costumer relationship than Cobb. You probably don't know but we were crying for Cobb tuning. sending countless emails to them, etc ,etc All we got yea we are working on it and 6 months later nothing. So we kind of gave up on those bustards.LOL

Yeah Bully works mostly on Trucks. Glad Nissan stuff 3.5 everywhere. LOL Now if you have a Nissan minivan you can get a costum tuning for it too. LOL Pretty sure all the soccer moms dream to get the tuning now.

Cheers

I did not pay for a UTEC (that was what I was looking at) because I am staying N/A. I got my mods on (spacer, CAI, headers, cats, exhaust) and sent my ECU in for a reflash. It deleted the speed limiter and changed air/fuel ratios in tune with my mods.

However, if I would be going F/I or adding a new crankshaft, pistons, rods, springs and cams I would 100% be buying a UTEC and at least a couple of hours of dyno-tuning time with a reputable tuning company.
