Ok, so i dont know the fancy word. Hopefully someone knows what im talking about.

But i wanna put a catch can in. The oil breather on the right side has 2, 1 goes to the other side and 1 to the intake.

Now can these things twist off? I tired a bit, but didnt move. Dont wanna rip it off if it cant. Just wanna make sure before i man handle it.

(want to put a single exit on that one instead of it having 2.)

I believe they are pressed in to the valve covers. I've seen pics where people have pulled them out and tapped them for AN fittings.

yeah i'm in the same boat. I was thinking I could leave off the connection between the two and just run the catch can between one and the intake but I have yet to research that idea

If you can't twist them out heat up the area around them. And just in case anyone plans on modifying them, you must have at least one vent for each cover. So you can have the two covers connected and have one hose come off (stock setup) or just have two separate hoses coming off from the individual covers. Also you will want to leave the pcv valve, as it helps to suck out oil vapors during vacuum. The other vents are utilized during boost.

I use an extension from a socket set to gain some leverage and support the thinwall tubing when I twist it.

I took both of my OEM fittings out. I just have the 2 holes in the valve cover, will occasionaly get a lil oil on the hood due to cam lash @ higher RPM's other than that its all good.

Isn't the point of these to give the Crank case a little vaccum to move oil around? I know Nate just has his wide open but I was thinking of leaving them connected but hooking up a catch can between the intake and stock hose.
